North Carolina's self-insured State Health Plan signed a new multiyear provider contract with Atrium Health, adding all remaining Atrium hospitals and physicians to the plan's in-network Access tier for the 2027 benefit period. The plan serves nearly 750,000 people in total, but the number of members using Atrium, negotiated rates and realized savings are not disclosed. Atrium will end its separate Affordability Protection Program and the plan will withdraw related litigation.
